What is the difference of Perma Blend Luxe to the classic Perma Blend pigments?
Both Classic and LUXE pigments are manufactured under strict safety and quality standards. The key difference is formulation.
The LUXE range is the EU REACH compliant wing of Perma Blend, being safer and less likely to cause reactions while still retaining the great range of long lasting colours you’ve come to know and love.
How do we know that the classic line is still safe?
Perma Blend products are confronted daily with rigorous testing. They cover everything, including performance testing and critical details, such as the presence of micro and heavy metals.
Why does the US not follow EU standards?
U.S. and EU regulations differ in approach. The EU tends to take a more precautionary stance, with strict pre-market bans and restrictions on over 1,300 substances in tattoo and PMU inks and cosmetics. In contrast, U.S. regulations focus on post-market safety enforcement, placing the responsibility on manufacturers to ensure product safety, with fewer ingredients explicitly banned.
Will there be color differences between the two lines?
Yes, the colors are different because the pigments are different. LUXE is an entirely new formulation that meets the same exact standards of our classic line, but created with ingredients that adhere to the new European regulation.
