New design adjustable Gen8 Brushless Combo with the same adjustable or rigid swashplate. The new Combo design allows you to use conventional needles or disposable needles with the Swashdrive Grip. The new brushless motor powering our latest machines is EC (Electronic Computation) technology in small, powerful DC electric motors.

Custom built brushless motor, 3mm preloaded bearings, Maxon electronics.
The new Gen8 is smaller, lighter and better balanced than the previous model.
Laser etched, polished stainless steel tube clamp.

Startup voltage is 9.0 volts, this is the minimum voltage required to power up the electronic circuit board that controls the motor.

9 volts at start-up will deliver 2000 rpm or 33 CPS
11 volts = 3000 rpm/50 CPS
13 volts = 6000 rpm/100 CPS
16 volts = 9000 rpm/150 CPS
Motor is limited to 150 CPS @16 volts which is maximum power.
