While Midnight is also one of the darker colours, its cooler tone is quite noticeable, and it can be used in place of black alongside Black Cherry. This ink will work well in places that lack light such as areas in the hair and things that need to be pushed back into the distance and this colour will allow lighter "flesh tones" to really push forward and appear brighter.
