New 4mm stroke stainless steel cam

The standard cam has been replaced with a new 4mm stroke cam made from stainless steel to enhance durability and lining performance. Cams can be exchanged like before. Four different cams are available for purchase as a kit. The new 4mm steel cam comes as standard.Use tool kit No.90 for quick and easy cam change.

Easy to convert between standard and cartridge needles

When using cartridges the Stay up spring must be removed to prevent strain on the motor and to function properly. The X2 version has a lid in the frame that allows quick access to the Stay up spring. Easy to remove and insert when choosing between standard and cartridge needles.

More stable give adjustment

New Cap with built in damper prevents clatter and excessive noise when using the softer give settings. Allows to use the whole 3 turns adjustment efficiently and without clatter.

Dragonfly Part 41B - X2 Eccenter Assembly

Fits all Dragonfly machines. Pre-set to stroke length of 2.6mm, 3.7mm or 4.5mm.

Can also be adjusted from 2.6 to 4.5mm.

Note that you will also need circlip pliers to replace this assembly.

Use the circlip pliers to remove the circlip and push out the connecting pin. Loosen the excenter from the motor shaft with a 0.9mm allen key. There are two screws on the standard excenter, one for the motor shaft and one for the bearing shaft. You only need to use the one for the motor shaft. Install the new assembly on the motor shaft and make sure that the screw ends up on the flat part of the shaft and tighten it securely. Check that the connecting rod aligns properly with the groove in the piston. This is important, if it does not align correctly it will not run properly and you might have to readjust the location of the motor. In that case please refer to the manual or send for service. If ok, align the upper bearing with the hole in the piston and insert the connecting pin then install the circlip.

Dragonfly Part 47 - Clipcord Binding Posts

Do not over tighten the screws that holds the binding post positive. This can damage the plastic insulation sleeve and may cause a short circuit. Just tighten enough to hold it in place. The screw that holds the end of the motor cord likewise or the cord can be damaged.

Dragonfly Part 44 - Needlebar Retainer Assembly

Install the needlebar retainer assembly by placing the retainer spring in the groove of the needlebar retainer. Push the retainer fix screw through the first hole opposite of the retainer bearing side, through the retainer spring and into the second hole. Leave the retainer fix screw end flush to the needlebar retainer surface on the bearing side. Put the needlebar retainer assembly in the groove of the frame and slide it back into place. Make sure that the end of the retainer spring engages correctly with the groove in the frame. Hold it in place while tightening the retainer fix screw.

The RPS-600 wireless power supply is a system designed for tattooing without cords attached to the tattoo machines or the foot switch. Powerpacks are made with leading edge battery technology weighing only 65 grams designed not to interfere with the hand more than the machine normally does. Once the machines are rigged with Powerpacks the main unit will sense which machine is picked up and recall the settings for that machine. High capacity batteries allows aprox 5 hours of effective running time and charging takes about one hour.

Communications between the units are by radio for optimal reliability and performance. To make the system complete we incorporated functions like Kickstart and Boost mode. Kick start allows the machines to start easy and run at low voltage. Boost mode actively controls the voltage to maintain the same speed during various loads and increases the machine power significantly. In short the RPS-600 is a complete system to control and combine your tattoo machines whether it’s a Dragonfly, Stingray or a coil machine. The RPS-600 can handle up to 6 machines with wireless Powerpacks.
