Emalla Eliot and Emalla Eliot Pro Difference
Material & Appearance
Emalla Eliot Cartridges and Emalla Eliot Pro Cartridges are both high-quality tattoo cartridge needles made with imported Japanese stainless steel needles and PC material shell (which offers more safety than the PVC material).
Additionally, Emalla Eliot and Emalla Eliot Pro feature different vent designs and non-slip designs.
Membrane & Stability System
Emalla Eliot Cartridge Needles have a soft and highly flexible membrane with 4 ribs to ensure proper tension without the risk of breakage. This perfect tension membrane system ensures that Emalla Eliot always delivers outstanding results with every use, whether it's for lining or shading.
Differing from the relatively soft membrane of Emalla Eliot, Emalla Eliot Pro employs a medium-tension membrane that exerts stronger pressure during tattooing. The enclosed three-ring silicone membrane technology tightly combines the membrane with the membrane cap, effectively preventing ink backflow and ensuring the safety of the tattoo machine.
Emalla Eliot and Emalla Eliot Pro Cartridge Needles both have a square designed plastic bars to fix cartridge needle stably.
Conclusion
EMALLA ELIOT Cartridge Needles and EMALLA ELIOT Pro Cartridge Needles are both highly praised for their exceptional quality and performance by tattoo artists of all levels. The choice ultimately boils down to your individual needs and preferences.

FAQ
What's the difference between Emalla Eliot and Emalla Eliot Pro cartridges?
EMALLA Eliot Pro Cartridges make upgrades and changes on the basis of EMALLA Eliot Cartridge.
EMALLA Eliot Pro cartridges have gone further in terms of quality and user experience after many revisions and trials.Let's take a look at the latest designs:
1. Color caps for easy identification of the tattoo needle configuration, help you find the right tattoo cartridge quicker and work even faster.
2. The proprietary vent design after many trials is best for ink flow.
3. Non-slip design makes sure that the body of shell can be hold much tightly and not easy to slip during long time working.
What are round liner cartridges used for?
Round liner cartridges are generally used for lining. The pins on round liner needles are soldered in a round pattern to create crisp, clean lining tattoo work.
The thickness of the line depends on the size you choose as well as the gauge of each pin.
For example, #12 gauge round liners, which diameter of each pin is 0.35mm, are the standard ones for creating bold outlines like those seen in the American traditional tattoo style. Smaller configurations like #04 and #06 gauge are also commonly used for fine line or mini tattoo work.
Commonly Used for: Most of tattoo works, such as dot work, letter tattoo, neo-traditional and so on.
What are round shader cartridges used for?
Round shader cartridges are commonly used for color filling and basic shading, in addition to doing thicker lines. They are very similar to round liners except the pins are not placed as close together. So that you can use them to pack pigments into the skin while using each shade with security, for a spotless surface.
EMALLA 3 and 5 round shader cartridges are useful for thick lines. 7 and 9 shaders are useful for covering smaller areas while 11, 14 and 18 shaders can cover larger areas.
Commonly Used for: Some line work and lettering. Japanese, traditional and neo-traditional. Geometric. Basic shading and color filling of most tattoo works.
What are curved magnum cartridges used for?
Curved magnum cartridges have an advantage in blending colors and laying down smooth shades even on large skin areas. They are also known as soft magnums, soft edge magnums, which pins are arranged so they arch at the centre. Meaning the edges of the needle run along the skin with more conformity, allowing for better dispersal of ink and a more consistent line. It’s also less damaging to the skin and helps with soft shading.
The most commonly used variations of curved magnums are 11, 13, 15, and 17 needle configurations. Also, there are higher sizes, including 19, 21, 23,25, and 27, which are for really large tattoos.
Commonly Used for: Black and grey. Realism. Japanese. Traditional and neo-traditional. Tribal and all types of shading and colour packing.
What are magnum cartridges for?
Magnum cartridges are the preferred grouping or needle type for much shading work. Magnums hold and deliver a lot of ink, making them perfect for large areas of colour packing and shading. Artists are able to change the penetration of needles by changing the angle and use a different number of needles to create various tattooed textures and effects or cover different areas. Less passes are required over an area to work the ink in meaning less trauma to the skin.
The ink stays between needles, evenly distributing the ink with every single puncture. It lets tattoo artists create solid and precises pigment distribution without causing light spots.
Commonly Used for: Black and grey. Realism. Japanese. Traditional and neo-traditional. Tribal and all types of shading and colour packing.
